One-time setup
- Open Google Cloud Console, create/select a project, and enable YouTube Data API v3.
- Under APIs & Services → Credentials, create an API key. Restrict its API access to YouTube Data API v3. Set website restrictions for your actual domains, such as
https://nlwcjax.org/* and https://www.nlwcjax.org/*. Include your Cloudflare address (https://YOUR-PROJECT.pages.dev/*) and your Church Co preview domain if you test there. - Paste the key above. Check both playlist links are complete and accessible. The supplied links are prefilled but have not been verified.
- Generate the embed, copy it, and paste it into an HTML/code block in The Church Co. Publish and test. The block must allow inline JavaScript and YouTube iframes.
Videos load from YouTube each time visitors open the page. To change the selected playlists later, open this manager, make changes, generate new code, and replace the website's embed. This manager does not remotely update your website. To host just the public grid, use Download grid for Cloudflare and upload that index.html to a separate Pages project. Re-upload the public grid after changing playlists or options.
Private playlists require account authorization and are not supported here. Some videos prohibit website playback. The YouTube player provides its own error for these videos. Internet access is required.
